the winds are shifting

Q3 2025 is here…

The winds are shifting.

I felt it traveling around the world.

From tea ceremonies in Japan to yachts in Switzerland.

Each place had lessons, as if I was picking them up piece by piece and in a specific order.

Like the breakpoint of a wave.

It grows tall until the water surface spills and collapses forward.

If you time it wrong it leaves you behind.

If you time it right it carries you far.

Reminds me of a story from Warren Buffet:

“It’s not necessarily how hard you row, but which boat you’re in.”

After graduating from Columbia University, Buffett and a friend went their separate ways.

His friend, entered the steel industry, which was facing challenges at the time. Buffett chose to invest in businesses. 

Even if the friend was smarter and harder working, Buffett got in a “better” boat. Getting more speed and direction from that one choice.
